I love living in Brighton and am starting a series on places and people I love down here To start with –  I am a HUGE fan of Marmalade Café in Kemptown, Brighton…. It is run by the gorgeous Lou and the very lovely Tania who both helped create the very eclectic style of the Bill’s chain of restaurants…. Now they are doing their own thing by launching and running Marmalade. We love them even more as they are like all of us at A&Co – hard working mums with a passion for food and taste… Absolutely everything looks too good to eat and is so full of flavour…Amazing salads, stunning cakes and the best coffee in Kemptown make it supremely popular and the décor and atmosphere are welcoming and warm….

You know the saying – ‘there’s no such thing as a free lunch?’ well there is at A&Co! We’d like to offer one reader lunch for 2 at Marmalade up to the value of £50.

All you have to do is subscribe to A&Co and add your comment below telling why you’d like to be the winner! It’s as easy as pie!

And do let me know any secret treasures in Brighton that you love!

Subscribe now and we’ll do the draw on June 22nd 2015. Good luck!

Wow, what a gorgeous looking cafe and all the food on display looks scrumptious!!! After having gestational diabetes, and not being able to eat any pastries or bread for months, I appreciate what a treat it is to eat something sweet or with carbs in it!! it was all totally worth it though when my baby arrived healthy and I’m now diabetic free. So I would really love to win a lunch and be able to enjoy their delicious looking food in such a lovely cafe!

I’m holidaying in late August in Brighton for the third time this year, would love to try this place out. A new treasure in brighton to visit is ‘the other place at the basement’ a theatre and comedy space newly opened before the fringe this year. Well worth a look at their programme for innovative acts, very friendly staff too.
