About A&Co.

To be honest the idea for this blog came to me as an archetypal light bulb moment… after another day of routine dragging me down into the abyss of the bottom on a wine bottle and back to back Judge Judy.

What I want if to create a forum of life, energy and fundamentally fun for the forty to fifty sets – and even beyond. I am in that set and look around at all my friends and we are all so different. Kids ranging from hardworking 20 and university students, through the unpredictability of teenagers (hands up me!) right down to pre school toddlers.

They are business owners, freelance stylists, writers, full time mums…teachers…all gloriously beautiful, talented and brimful of wisdom that I would drain for them vampire like (if I just had another 24 hours in each and every day…

An old sexist cliché is’ you are only as old as the woman you feel’ (Ha bloody ha!) but for me you are only as old as you want to be… I still feel like I’m in my 20s… I dance (very embarrassingly according to the sprogs), I drink… I’ve never followed the 5:2 diet ( sorry Mimi) and I try at lots of things.. Gym, meditation, lists, controlling my temper…not buying new clothes I don’t need… but I often fail.

I think I’m pretty normal…

I’ve gathered together a fabulous bunch of like minded mates who are first and foremost fabulous and secondly supremely talented a at what they do. They are going to help me keep this blog alive with
Ideas for fashion, beauty, home, food and kids… for us – the twentyfortyfiftysomethings…
It will be just about imparting their invaluabe wisdom and they are going to give you a peek into their livestoo to so we can all enjoy the up and downs together in the now and in the real world…

It’s going to be a rollercoaster, it’s going to be fun and I’m so excited to press the start button, please do climb on board, it’s going to be a riot…
